The Brotherhood of the Black Flag by Ian Nathaniel Cohen

Review of The Brotherhood of the Black Flag by Ian Nathaniel Cohen:

The Brotherhood of the Black Flag by Ian Nathaniel Cohen is an amazing book about pirates. It has twists that leave you shocked and even a little bit of romance. Although I don’t know a lot of sailing terms, the book was written in a way that context helps you understand most of them, and there is a glossary at the end of the book for Historical Terms and Persons. I absolutely loved this book and by the second half couldn’t put it down. It was well written, with believable characters and events. There are several time jumps while uneventful sailing occurs and those time jumps are clearly understandable. I would recommend this book to anyone, but especially to those who enjoy action and anything to do with boats or pirates.
