Les Misérables by Victor Hugo

Rating:

I only gave this book 4 stars because, while the story itself was absolutely amazing, there was so much history of France in terupting the story that I had a hard time following it at times. Overall I found that this book was much easier to listen to than to read myself. I have attempted to read this book before but never made it past the first chapter. However, listening to the audiobook I was able to really get into the story and not struggle with pronouncing the names and places. Overall, it was a good book.
