Guns by Stephen King

Rating:

Having come from a pro-gun right wing family, I wasn’t aware of exactly how many shootings are done with automatic and semi-automatic weapons. Stephen King makes some very good points and has changed my opinion on increasing gun laws (of which I actually had no set opinion before reading the book). I think everyone should read this book and really think about what he is trying to say. Stephen King says himself that he owns three guns, and he’s not trying to abolish them completely, he’s trying to restrict the weapons that are killing innocent people. Also, his statistics about America being a “violent” nation were awesome and I hope to be able to remember some of them in case I ever need to argue with someone over it. If you want to know them, read the book.
