Birth or The Exquisite Sound of One Hand Falling Off a Turnip Truck by S.T. Gulik

Review of Birth or The Exquisite Sound of One Hand Falling Off a Turnip Truck by S.T. Gulik:

Birth or The Exquisite Sound of One Hand Falling Off a Turnip Truck by S.T. Gulik was a surprising good book. Set in the future, it gives a new twist to post-apocalyptic stories. I found this book to be extremely interesting, though very odd. It was difficult to put down and surprisingly enjoyable. Though the cover is as odd as the book itself, the old adage “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” is very accurate in this case. I almost skipped reading this one because I didn’t think I would like it, but if I had, I would have missed out on a great book. This book is the first of a series and I hope to be able to read and review the rest of the series. I would definitely recommend this book.
